Police brutality is an awful thing. And I understand making a statement.
But is burning your own town to the ground the only way to do that? No. it’s not. And it’s not the best way either.
Is the answer to all of our problems found in police forces and armies? No.
But you aren’t going to find it by burning everything down either.
Violence is not an answer

I don’t care.
Policing is intrinsically violent. If you truly believe violence is not ever the answer, you should be regularly calling for abolition of institutionalized violence, rather than just calling out those who violently respond to institutionalized violence.
